The GBH Story

Growing up immersed in the agricultural and ranching way, I realized the assets of such a life.  Hardwork, honesty, determination, courage and faith are the core values that helped me to become a successful Agriscience teacher.  It was essential for me to pass the same fundamental qualities on to my students.  I began developing teams as a part of FFA that has led us to a national level despite coming from a small school with very little resources. 

While preparing a team for Nationals a few years ago, I told them "If you don't learn anything else from me, learn that you got to Grab 'Em By The Horns", out WANT them and BELIEVE.  This advice hit home with my kids and the power of this statement has resulted in 38 state championships, thus far.  One day I came to the conclusion this was not only valuable to my students competing but is applicable to anyone at any point in their life.  We all have an 'EM', and so was born the Grab 'Em By The Horns brand.  Our brand is meant to motivate, encourage, and inspire ALL to be their very best.
